• Nioh 3 landed February 6 on PS5 and PC – Team Ninja’s back at it with the same soul-crushing difficulty, new yokai designs to mess you up, combat that’s a hair smoother, and co-op that actually feels useful when you’re getting bodied by bosses. Feudal Japan still looks insane, and that “just one more attempt” feeling never quits.
• Resident Evil Requiem shows up February 27 on basically all platforms, Switch 2 included – Capcom’s keeping the survival horror alive with tight resource juggling, atmosphere thick enough to cut, and some new nightmare fuel in the mix. First proper mainline one on Nintendo in ages, which is kinda wild.
• Dragon Quest VII Reimagined came February 5 for Switch, Switch 2, PS5 – classic turn-based JRPG vibes with updated looks, better flow when wandering around, and those battles that just feel right if you’re into long, comfy stories.
• Mewgenics drops February 10 on PC – cat-breeding roguelike with tactical fights and a ton of silly humor. Total curveball next to the heavy hitters, but it’s got that weird addictive pull for when you need something less intense.
